VA HELL: Naming Names, More On The Agent Orange Cover-up
If war is hell, then what do you call battling with the VA after your sacrifice?
Maybe it’s a post-hell purgatory. Maybe it’s something else.
It’s a question I’ve been trying to figure out for some time. Since no answer is in sight, the only think I can think to do is to write about veterans’ stories.
Let’s hope the world and some high ranking officials have their minds changed before they march us into another pointless war after reading these testimonials.
You send it in. I tweak it with some minor edits. Then it shows up here on the weekend if I think it will help other veterans.
This weekend, I wanted to post a testimonial about Agent Orange. One veteran writes in below about spraying Agent Orange in Guam.
Veteran VA Horror Story
My VA horror story started in Dec 1987 and had not ended yet 26 years later. I handled, mixed by hand and power sprayed agent orange herbicides on Guam for the U.S Air Force from 1968 to 1978.
I didn’t know all of the ramifications of the spraying and handling but found out suddenly on July 29 2009 when the IOM (Institute of Medicine) Agent Orange committee released the 2008 update.
I realized at that one moment what was happening to me with chloracne, sterility, immune problems, ischemic heart disease, peripheral neuropathy, psoriasis, anklylosing spondiolysis, sciaticia, spinal stenosis, degenerative joint and disc disease, osteoarthritis, osteoporsis, and more.
A week later a veteran contacted me on the internet. Low and behold it was a veteran who served alongside of me in another squadron on Andersen AFB. His duties crossed over on mine as I was a fuels specialist 631×0 with the Supply Squadron Fuels Division and he was a fuels maintenance specialist with the Civil Engineering Squadron on Andersen AFB. He had to lay in the AO herbicides I sprayed on the fuel pipelines that ran from Andersen AFB to the Naval Base Fuel supply depot.
Our diseases kind of overlapped but didn’t. I started to question how to they connect. I wrote down all of his diseases and mine and started looking for something to connect them all.
BINGO! In October 2009, I found a classified report on the internet of Admiral Zumwalt and low and behold it was about AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE. Admiral Zumwalt warned our leaders in D.C., with the VA, with the IOM AO COMMITTEE, CONGRESS, THE WHITEHOUSE, DoD. They ignored him and classified his testimony. They knew the ramifications of it all.
They hid those 325 plus diseases from everyone. All the veterans organizations, all the news media, all the outlets where it could be leaked. They stopped in like a plug. Just like Congressman Sonny Montgomery did as chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee who was best friends and frat brother Hunter Henry, CEO of Dow Chemical.
They even employed Alvin Young to keep the lid on things forever.
They let hundreds of thousands of veterans of the Vietnam War go unknowing what was happening to them and their children. They let them die none for the wiser. They let them suffer and die.
Some tried to fight the system, but they knew they had all the evidence locked up and no one was going to get anything from it. They even protected the liars with the chemical companies. ALL A SET UP.
This maybe why Homeland Security has two billion bullets waiting for us. They may think we might fight back. They killed us and we didn’t know it.
I was sterilized, chloracne, anklylosing spondoilysis , autoimmune problems during the handling and mixing and spraying of it. The other guy I just wrote about is very ill, too.
I just returned from St Louis Missouri to testify at his BVA hearing March 5, 2013. I have found many veterans who are ill who knew about the AO on Guam.
One high-ranking official with the VA actually saw me spraying it on Andersen AFB. He is dying. Yet they will not listen. They will not help the dying veterans.

My “living hell” began 06/01/1969, my first day in ‘Nam as an Air Force Protestant Chaplain. My 1st shower I was tackled to the ground and the man said, “I’m not queer. I’m trying to save your life. Just listen” Then several 122 mm VC Rockets hit the showers, destroying everything. Had the concrete/block walls not surrounded us, we would be dead. 30 minutes later, my first duty was to drive out to the MP outposts around Phu Cat’s perimeter. Jeep ran over a IUD, blowing me into the air, coming down on rockpile, severely injuring my L4 and L5 vertebrae. Couldn’t hear for 3 weeks. I made 30+ trips onto “the killing fields” assisting the Army chaplains. Was sprayed by AO regularly. Over 300 men died in my arms! So I carry my own Vietnam War Memorial Between My Ears and Deep Inside my Heart and Soul.
Began having multiple basal and squamous cell cancers in 1987. Have had 150+ cut off my body.f Presently, VA rates me 80% medically disabled with PTSD and Ischemic Heart Disease. I cannot work as a Ph.D clinical psychotherapist anymore, since April 10, 2014. The reason is that the VA psychiatrist has me on 150 mg 3XD of Venlafaxine, which puts me to sleep with patients in mid-afternoon. So I had no choice but to retire. Our family misses that income severely, and the VA doesn’t seem to care about me.
I’ve been fighting them since October 2007. I have filed claims based on the VA docs diagnosing me with 19 AO diseases! The VA docs attest to these diseases. However, the VA Comp and Pen folks are fighting me back–just like the goddamn Vietcong.
What to do? (1) NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER GIVE IN .KEEP POUNDING ON THEIR DOORS, AS LONG AS I HAVE BREATH; (2) MY APPEAL TO BVA IS 5 years away from being heard! Remember all our brothers who died in the Phoenix VA for lack of medical care?
SAME THING HERE WITH ME AND ALL THE REST STUCK IN “VA HELL”.(3) BE SURE TO GET WITH A VA REP {MINE IS WITH THE DISABLED VETS OF AMERICA} AND SIGN THE VA DOC THAT SAYS IF YOU DIE WHILE YOUR CASE IS “ON APEAL”, YOUR SPOUSE OR NEXT OF KIN GETS WHATEVER BENEFITS ARE AWARDED YOU..
does this statement look familiar? “Veterans who may qualify for Agent Orange presumption include those who were exposed based on duty or visitation in Vietnam or on its inland waterways between January 9, 1962, and May 7, 1975; exposed along the demilitarized zone in Korea between April 1, 1968, and August 31, 1971; or exposed due to herbicide tests and storage at military bases within and outside of the United States. Check out the Agent Orange Fast Track web site if you think you may be affected by the diseases listed above as a result of Agent Orange exposure. ” Well it does to me except the part I highlighted. If this statement is accurate how many vets have checked other bases they were stationed or traveled like Camp Le Jeune etc. I do remember info I came across when I first started investigating starting with contamination at FORT HOOD upper state NY in the 1940s the same time as Nitro WV was making it. I remember printing off at least 80 bases affected. Is there ANYONE OUT THERE THAT REMEMBERS COMING ACROSS THIS INFO? Carol Tamara
I have information that shows,the coverup within the VA, DOD, IOM AND CONGRESS WITH THE MOUTH PIECE ALVIN YOUNG. The recorded audio tapes tell itvall.
No sure where to go? Just discovered that Eglin AFB was a test site. Was TDY there in 1979 for EW tests. In the field daily, fishing on base, etc. Now have multiple systems of
exposure. Also was stationed on a former SAC base Killeen) on AD and many of the systems are identical. In the initial stages of collecting data on line. Almost believe that a good legal team may be the best answer.

An update. Agent Orange yet again has struck . This time I have been diagnosed with a tumor in my colon and rectum and growing. Time is running out. I hope whomever reads this will understand the urgency of helping others before it is too late. I am so sorry I will not be able to see this through. I felt an urgency all along to find every soul I hurt with the AO I SPRAYED ON GUAM. GOD FORGIVE ME FOR MY FAILURES. I AM SO VERY SORRY I HAVE HURT MANKIND SO DEEPLY. EVEN MY OWN CHILD AND ONLY GRAND CHILD WITH SEVERAL BIRTH DEFECTS, WITH DISEASES AND NOW AT AGE FOUR DIAGNOSED WITH BLINDNESS. NO ONE KNEW SHOULD COULD ONLY SEE BLURRED IMAGES. I AM RESPONSIBLE AND I AM SO DEEPLY SORRY.
My husband said to me yesterday that he hopes he sees his claim settled before he dies. He has been waiting since 10/2011 but has been very ill for the past 20 years. This is no way to treat our soldiers. At least if you know they have the Agent Orange give them their benefits so they can enjoy it before they are planted.
