Veterans Affairs Gives ‘3rd World’ Health Care To Veterans

Manchester VA

Whistleblowers from one Veterans Affairs medical center are coming out of the woodwork with numerous allegations of malpractice including giving veterans a poor level of care you would only get in “3rd world countries”.

The Manchester VA, located in New Hampshire, is supposedly one of the better medical centers in the system boasting a four-star rating.

But numerous whistleblowers have exposed the poor conditions inside the VA and leadership that has a chokehold on veterans’ access to competent and safe health care.

According to Boston Globe, this is what a VA four-star hospital looks like:

One operating room has been abandoned since last October because exterminators couldn’t get rid of the flies. Doctors had to cancel surgeries in another OR last month after they discovered what appeared to be rust or blood on two sets of surgical instruments that were supposedly sterile.

Thousands of patients, including some with life-threatening conditions, struggle to get any care at all because the program for setting up appointments with outside specialists has broken down. One man still hadn’t gotten an appointment to see an oncologist this spring, more than four weeks after a diagnosis of lung cancer, according to a hospital document obtained by the Globe.

And when patients from the Manchester Veterans Affairs Medical Center are referred to outside specialists, those physicians are sometimes dismayed by their condition and medical history. A Boston neurosurgeon lamented that several Manchester patients sent to him had suffered needless spinal damage, including paralysis, because the hospital had not provided proper care for a treatable spine condition called cervical myelopathy.

So if this is what you get from a four-star facility, what are veterans getting from a three-star facility? It must be at least as bad as what people get in 3rd World countries.

VA Gives Vets 3rd World Health Care

“Only in 3rd world countries is it common to see patients end up as disabled from myelopathy as the ones who have been showing up after referral from you,” wrote Dr. Chima Ohaegbulam, of New England Baptist Hospital, to a doctor at the Manchester VA in 2014.

“I see such patients on visits to Nigeria, and really only see them in Boston when they show up from the VA!”

Senior leadership at the hospital acted surprised when confronted over the problems at Manchester VA, but whistleblowers say they were well informed of the problems.

Bad Leadership Removed

Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin, MD, immediately removed the facility’s director and chief of staff pending the outcome of a top-to-bottom investigation.

“These are serious allegations and we want our veterans and our staff to have confidence in the care we’re providing,” said Shulkin in a written statement. “I have been clear about the importance of transparency, accountability, and rapidly fixing any and all problems brought to our attention, and we will do so immediately with these allegations.”

Danielle Ocker was the facility director. James Schlosser was the chief of staff.

It’s time we all know who the jokers are screwing over veterans.

  1. Senator McCain, on veterans committee in senate & supposedly has turned down with a ‘no’ vote every time there has been a bill to increase funding of any way for the VA. He was son & grandson of Navy Admirals & shot down in Viet Nam being a prisoner of war for about 6 years & the enemy made him famous as a triumph for them. He then married a large beer manufacturers heiress & his fame got him elected. Now regretfully he has cancerous tumors on the brain & will have nothing to do with the VA & has elected to use the Mayo Clinic which he could probably buy. It would be nice if Congressman were forced to use VA medical system as they force the disabled vets to do. Why does this country & the government rule makers treat disabled vets, many of are super heroes, treat them as crap, excess baggage they wish would go away. This country never used to be this way. I have had problems with Muslim doctors in the VA & it is obvious they hate us, but you cannot show anger to a person that is administering health care to you, good or bad. I had one in an outside E.R. that only had one other patient & we waited 4 1/2 hours to see us. I asked nurse what the delay was & she obviously did not get along with him for his attitude, & told us he was in his office reading.

“VA employee in Salisbury charged with assault on a female”
    by WVTV

A Salisbury Veterans Administration Medical Center employee was arrested on assault charges Friday.

According to the Lexington Police Department, 50-year-old Leslie West Eason was charged with assault on a female in Lexington. He was arrested just before 10:30 p.m.

The VA released the following statement regarding Eason’s arrest: The W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center takes these allegations very seriously, as the safety of our employees and Veterans are our upmost priority. We uphold a “Zero Tolerance” policy for behavior that is disruptive, threatening or contrary to our core values. We can confirm that the individual is employed at the VA Medical Center. If necessary, once more information becomes available, leadership will take appropriate action.

Sounds like another VA Employee just won the lottery with and extended paid vacation.

    1. The VA will no doubt promote him to be in charge of some VA Veteran Women Survivors of Domestic & Military Sexual Trauma Group or some anagram similar in oxymoronic fashion. Seems the fastest way to get promoted at the VA is through their whack a mole program.

    2. 140,000 volunteers gave more than 11 million hours in service to America’s Veterans per the VA Voluntary Service page. I can’t do the math but how much money would it of cost to pay the volunteers minimum wage for those hours. Free labor should/could be counted into the budget they’re always asking more money for.

      1. An additional VA page on the subject of Volunteers.

        At: “https://www.volunteer.va.gov/docs/NAC-2013tcftrainees_presentation.pdf”

You will note that the VA Works Closely with VSOs in the Volunteer department.

A very large percentage of those 11 million hours include all the hours worked by bartenders, waitstaff, gaming personal, maintainance people, lawyers, accountants and others employed to work within the many VSO posts and VSO offices.

      2. In 2014 it cost the VA $63, 460, 063 for this Volunteer Program . What a scam.

      3. Why just staffing the beer gardens across America’s county fairs must run up at least several hundred thousand volunteer hours each and every year. given the VSOs buy the beer Tax Free and consider the purchase price as a donation to the VSO so no taxes on the sale to customer.

Of course the profits or donations are then re-donated to go into each posts many different charities set up for laundering money.

  3. An Update in the Veterans Administration’s never-ending series of the Whack a Mole Board Game.

The new acting Director of VAMC Manchester is Alfred Montoya, Jr. Montoya is one of those freshly picked dingle berries freshly picked and moved between the cheeks of the VA while still moist and retaining his Kling-On capabilities to remain between the cheeks.

Montoya, the former Director of the White River Junction VAMC, abilities, or better stated inabilities to manage are memorialized in the June 20th, 2017 VAOIG report. The OIG report written on those extra soft sheets with wording meant to move the dingle berry, Montoya, between the cheeks without fully removing him. Leaving him ever so slightly smeared but still apply able to Kling-On between the cheeks of the VA as the new acting Director of VAMC Manchester.

The results of the VAOIG Investigation into Montoya’s previous position between the VA cheeks.

“Results: We conducted the review during the week of December 5, 2016, and identified certain system weaknesses in the quality, safety, and value program; anticoagulation policies and processes; transfer documentation; moderate sedation care; community nursing home oversight; and management of disruptive and violent behavior.”

As for the VAOIG report’s silky soft smoothness designed to slightly smear but not fully dislodge this dingle berry, (Montoya). The Review Impact uses the wordage “we could not gain reasonable assurance”, then goes on to state totally misleading statements about the VAMC White River Juntion.

Review Impact: As a result of the findings, we could not gain reasonable assurance that:

    1. Facility leadership is involved in high-level oversight and decision-making by the Quality Management Board.

    2. Clinical managers review Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation data to monitor trends in practice and patient outcomes.

    3. The facility maintains effective oversight of utilization management processes.

    4. The facility prioritizes patient safety improvement by consistently conducting root cause analyses as required.

    5. Clinical employees and leadership provide safe anticoagulation care.

    6. Clinicians provide informed consent and communicate important information to other health care team members through the electronic health record when they transfer patients from the facility.

    7. Providers and other clinical employees provide safe moderate sedation care.

    8. The facility monitors the community nursing home program and assures the effective oversight of care of patients in these settings.

    9. The facility has processes and procedures in place to prevent, reduce, and manage disruptive/violent behavior.

It is well known in the world today that the commonality between the starship Enterprise and a roll of toilet paper is that they have both circled Uranus with the sole purpose to wipe out Kling-Ons. But this VAOIG report and the current actions by Shulkin are in no way designed for the same purpose.

It is clear the report and Shulkin’s actions are only meant to slightly smear the Kling-Ons while repositioning them elsewhere between the cheeks.

Clearly it is time to send in the Enterprise with the sole purpose to wipe out these Kling-Ons.

    1. Michael J. Missal is one big Dingle berry that needs to go. Clearly his offices is not doing its job but instead it is doing nothing more than putting turd polish on turds. Shulkin, that Brown Snake playing peak a boo between the VA cheeks also needs to go.

    2. If you search a little on Montoya, you find an article from April 25, 2017 where Montoya held a local dog and pony Town Hall…blaming Choice for veterans problems. Its in the SentinelSource dot com.

They also quote the usual vet who likes the VA.

In that article, Montoya bragged about setting up an “Office of Community Care” to help vets with Choice.

Nothing was mentioned about the Veterans Choice Champions that every VA hospital hired using Choice money to supposedly assist vets with Choice. For fucks sake, the VA hired these people 2 years ago…Montoya may or may not know that, but after 2 years, you would think those nitwits would be able to help vets with Choice.

Another article on Montoya comes from VTDigger dot com dated July 3, 2017. In that article, Montoya is bragging about reducing the time a veteran is hospitalized. Essentially shoving vets out the door whether they are ready or not.

In the article, Montoya was asked about the IG report you mention Seymore. He said, “What it boiled down to was documentation issues and lack of attention to detail.”

So, if you can skate by an IG inspection finding problems in 24 areas, then lie to the press to make it look like a paperwork problem, you get promoted in the VA.

      1. Wholly Fucked VA!!!!!!!!! Helman, Graves, & Montoya are the Mother Dingleberries all other Klingons stick closely to and defy every step of accountability every time.

WTF, PRESIDENT TRUMP and Isaacson and Piggies YOUR TIME IS UP as far as Veteran’s patience to drain the fucking swamp.

I’m ready to go all torches and pitchforks angry villagers on Frankenstein VA Hill.

WTF???? Shulkin…YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN SORRY ASSED McDONALD!!!!!

All these fucks need bayonets up their asses instead of their heads!

        WTF?!!!!!!!

      2. @namnibor: EXACTLY, The asswipe who murdered Veterans in Marion IL,? No prosecution, just move his murdering fucking ass over to Nevada!!!!!! Fuck this whack a mole shit, over and over and over again………

“Burns Sees Vietnam War as Virus, Documentary as Vaccination”

    By: Holly Ramer.

Starting on September 17, 2017, a 10 part, 18 hr., documentary will try to explain why the Vietnam War divided America.
Now, Ken Burns, in my opinion, has taken on the “task” of explaining why Vietnam Veterans were treated in such deplorable ways when returning to “The World”! (Remember that phrase we used?) I also believe Ken Burns is, whether he knows it or not, calling Vietnam Veterans a “virus”!

This is what I remember upon my return!
I remember having “urine balloons thrown at us”, by “protesters”, when we landed at “Sea/Tac Airport” January 15, 1969!

I remember being told, when I took my mother to a “5 star restaurant” in my home town, quote: “We don’t serve murderers here!” unquote!

I remember being “physically attacked”, on my first job, (after ETS’ing in 1969), because I had served in Vietnam!

I remember NEVER telling anyone, from that point on, of even serving in the U.S. Army! I kept that “6 year period” a “private matter” between myself and my family!
I even went so far as to ask my parents and siblings to NEVER tell anyone I had served in the military! Talk about “Shame”!

My own countryman and women were violently opposed to anyone who served! They were only wanting us to “go against the war!” Then they would accept you into their “clique”! “Asswipes!”

When you served in the military, you had two “choices”, go to war or go to prison! There was no third choice!

These are my “remembrances” upon returning to “The World!”

Taliban seen with SCAR rifle commonly carried by American commandos

WASHINGTON — In a propaganda film posted to the Taliban’s official website, a fighter can be seen carrying a FN SCAR 7.62mm rifle, a weapon commonly issued to U.S. special operators, such as Marine Raiders and Army Rangers.

The 70-minute video titled “Omari Army 5,” produced by Al Emarah Studio — a media branch of the Taliban— showcases seven Taliban training bases and military training exercises being carried out by the resurgent militant group.

The video also displays U.S. weapon systems and optics commonly carried by American soldiers and Marines.

Attached to the rifle is what appears to be an AN/PEQ 5 visible laser, which aids special operators in aiming and precision fires in close quarters.

Affixed to the rifle’s side rail mount is a past model Surefire flashlight, issued to special operators

as part of the older generation of Special Operations Peculiar Modification Kits — assorted optics, lasers and night vision equipment issued to American commandos that can be attached to an M4 carbine or SCAR rifle.

In other pictures throughout the video, Taliban fighters can be seen holding American-made M4s and M16s, with many of the M4s featuring attached Trijicon ACOG scopes

    LATER ALL……..Your probably glad ain’t you…LOL

Bin Laden is still alive & he is living a lavish lifestyle in the Bahamas, thanks to regular payments from the CIA.
“I have documents showing that Bin Laden is still on the CIA’s payroll,” claims Edward Snowden. “He is still receiving more than $100,000 a month, which is being transferred through some front businesses and organizations, directly to his Nassau bank account. I am not certain where he is now, but in 2013, he was living quietly in his villa with five of his wives and many children.”

“All the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.”

Examining the nightly news in the run up to almost any military intervention will find scores of talking heads crying for blood to flow in the streets of some city the name of which they just learned to pronounce. Once the bullets start flying, those that clamored for war will still be safely on set bringing you up-to-the-minute coverage of the carnage while their stock in Raytheon climbs.

“War against a foreign country only happens when the moneyed classes think they are going to profit from it.”

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. George Orwell..there’s that inversion

There are some ideas so wrong that only a very intelligent person could believe in them. George Orwell…….AND I AGREE GEORGE …LOL

    1. “Roosevelt once said that I was the only operator in history who ever illegally siphoned money into a Washington project”. Orson Welles, regarding his involvement in the Federal Theatre Project.

Federal Theatre Project the Negro Theatre Unit. The project provided employment and apprenticeships to black playwrights, directors, actors, and technicians. The project offered a much-needed source of assistance for African-American theatre.

      1. HE might have been the first, but he sure wasn’t the last,,, Damn trend starter..LOL

      2. I should explain that he was illegally using part of his own paycheck from his very successful radio show to help supplement the Federal Theatre Project. So he was siphoning money into the project.

But today clearly all money is being siphoned out of the budgets of projects.

  7. THIS IS OFF TOPIC BUT WELL SAID ABOUT THE INVERSION OF THINGS, This is some one’s comment………Ancient history does not lie…And most all those myths are fact’s
Once you get rid of the fear, It will all come together

Much of your info looks good but your statement about the Flat Earth being used to bewitch is nonsense. Of course this worldview will divide but then all truth divides people. Yes, the elites are going to try to use the Flat Earth popularity to their advantage but that doesn’t mean it is incorrect. There is no CURVE! People who say they see a curve are either being disingenuous, have eye problems or are on drugs. The horizon is always FLAT from any height and will always rise to eye level. All your pix use a fish-eye lens hence the curve. Please go back and do more research and do a re-think. If you get that right then your site offers a damn fine package of truth and i will refer others to it. Flat Earth is incredibly important because the satanic elites after 500 years will no longer be able to hide God behind their lies of EVOLUTION and the BIG BANG and a spinning ball Earth orbiting the sun in an infinite, godless universe. This is the BIGGEST lie the Jesuits have perpetrated on a perishing humanity! Remember, whatever is written in the History and Science books is the inverse of the REAL FACTS that have been hidden. The satanic law of INVERSION has resulted in the great DECEPTION!

  8. We have International situation. Hospitals in Europe (Germany). Ever wonder why the some life insurance coverage will only cover death or loss of use within a certain time after an accident, it’s because the deadly infection started in the hospital.
Also, the VA’s math still doesn’t add up. I’m 100& T & P (not but feel like toilet paper), but overseas, they will only pay for direct cost of the SCD. Even if other problems where caused by the SCD, and no Dental. As if this is a “special” type of reimbursement.
,,For every being, there is a world, different from the world of every other being. For what is a world? It is those things of which any single being is aware. So that whether it be a human being like yourself, a cow on a farm or a leaf on a tree, it knows only of its Creator, itself, and whatever is essential to its purpose. And that is its world. And in the world of each one of us, all that exists and all that occurs is that which is essential for us to complete our purpose—to fix up this world. For G‑d does not create anything without purpose.”
We are still wondering what the VA’s real purpose is sometimes…

    1. Your right TOM everything does have a purpose, and there are more good people than bad, But the shit you read in the news paper’s would make you think the opposite,. but it isn’t so, It’s just the insane are running the nut house…news paper’s..tv..government…They have more control over people that are in fear….So don’t fear the REAPER and it feel’s real good…
AND FOR THE EVIL TROLL’S THE BACK DOOR IS ALWAYS WIDE OPEN, MOTHER FUCKER’S

  9. @SeymoreKlearly, that mystery sounds straight out of a good book. I have to wonder who, or which of our many agencies needed him dead. Who/what was covering what/who? Did we find our hackers? What a day….

  10. Off Topic but interesting read.

“Boehm: House IT Scandal Could Explode; Is Wasserman Schultz Being Blackmailed?”
by Jamie Gregora, National Legal and Policy Center, July 17, 2017
    “https://nlpc.org/2017/07/17/boehm-house-scandal-explode-wasserman-schultz-blackmailed/”

“A family of Democratic Congressional IT staffers is under investigation for stealing equipment from Congressional offices, possible money laundering, and potentially compromising the House of Representatives’ IT network.

The Capitol Police are investigating Imran Awan, his wife Hina Alvi, and two brothers Abid and Jamal Awan following a data breach this past February, and have barred them from accessing the House network as of March. IT staffers are shared across offices, meaning that the Awans were not employed by any single office.

Between 2009 and 2017, the Awans were paid roughly $4 million. Yet, according to Luke Rosiak, an investigative reporter for the Daily Caller , there is no sign of this money. Imran Awan and Hina Alvi lived in an unremarkable apartment and did not have any significant outward trappings of wealth.”

Reading the full article is worth the time but I would have to point out one short coming. Gregora doesn’t mention the facts that these IT people set up the Email accounts and Passwords for each of the Congressman. So the IT people had full access to email accounts and every available file on the system. He also fails to mention that the IT people have returned to Pakistan and are currently being protected by the Pakistan security services and the Military.

Also he fails to mention that the day they fled the country a DOJ Prosecutor was murdered in Wasserman Schultz district in Florida. His body washed up days latter.

  13. Higher management is once again playing numb, I did not know. !

Way to many people using this excuse or pleading the 5th and saying we will see who has the last laugh.

I agree that more employees must speak out, most of all veteran that are VA employees.

At least these two were scolded, where were they sent to, I know chief of another section.

At least one senator wrote Shulkin and stated although he can not tell the VA what to do, he expressed his concerns with Shulkin.

My senator’s state the same thing and stopped at that statement. They could have written the Secretary also, but his crew don’t Care enough.

Little by little people like you all are having a positive effect. ! Keep it up !

  14. Mike your problems just important anyone else’s. if nothing happens for you or you r wronged here’s the number for accountability hotline 8559482331

  15. After all this was my message to retards stalking this site also in information pertaining to them. Heeee karma is a bitch. And one last message to VA employees. Do your fucking job or get the fuck out of VA. NOW!!!! Days r numbered. Tick tick the accountability plague is following YOU. One more hint for small minded VA employees IF you see a crime or wrong doing and do nothing plague got ya 2. Evil only flourishes when good men do nothing. And

  16. I don’t know if can make another two weeks. My stories are shit compared to having cancer and the VA throwing in the closet hoping heals itself. I should have never left CT, my doctor didn’t see me in a month or 2, he called to check up on me knowing I’m fucked up. I just see no way of making it. Asked to go on Choice so can rid of me and my big mouth, have appointment next week with chief of staff but doubt anything will come of it. Can’t live on Fentanyl forever, till for a jump.

  17. They probably don’t read correctly at times. But mine was not mistake it was cover up for that acupuncture needle jammed in back of knee. Other one was try to get me back in there to repeat sick bitches behavior. Outside hospital confirmed. And MRI was phony wasn’t mine. Their own dept said so. So retards r being watched by more than they realize. N retard doesn’t mean mental retardation no discrimination here Retards means dumb fucking idiots who believe they are something they aren’t. Hey dickie n suescum time for surveillance tonight. Proper term is stocking hey but us retards don’t know wha da felony is. We can get putanfpissum electric contractor to help. Hehe do anything he thinks fingeringpossums is his wife. Heheee

  18. One other thing since they are protected breaking the laws a fucking opiate epidemic in US we know no accountability in drugs money in VA. Whistle blowers go to ur community police they will arrest Gyarantee they will find more than just drugs. Make that cop a chief

  19. It’s everywhere, its horrible and probably going to take my life soon. Denver is a mad house. They have had a shortage on doctors over 10 years! So a lot of people do as they please knowing nothing can be done. The use a loophole in a old bill making easier to hire doctors short term to fill the holes. These contract doctors mostly suck knowing temp, getting top pay for area, daily, DAILY FOOD AND HOUSING ALLOWANCE, my doctors was a temp for 10 years with het huge bucket at the VA money spigot. They told was moving to perm, packed up and moved to TX for the next wave a free money! It’s horrible, my Ortho doc told me the radiology reports sucks so bad, he doesn’t read until he looks at to get a good laugh. Told me get all my radiology images and pay to get read on outside. He told me my left knee needs a replacement and left not far away. Next appointment? He quit and went to Texas too. I believe the they don’t read radiology images correctly so less referrals, less appointments. Same game, different way to play. My days are numbered, I can’t live in pain like this, angry all the time. Been on same dose of medication for 4 years, will treat me like a junky without ever asking for anything. Labeled me a complainer cause I won’t stand and get butt f*^ked! Pain increases anxiety, which increases depression and then anger. The next step is become a daily statistic. Watch your ass and don’t believe anything, always ask to see a real doctor, not a resident or PA and then a 2nd opinion. It’s a mess and I’ll be glad when I’m gone.

  20. Make sure you go national for news. Ppl under impression it being in local area of VA. Now u must know a whistleblower dr reported being put under surveillance by va. VA r dumb shits not cops it’s stalking and they do it to all threats. It kind of looks like a retard parade on wheels. They have local electric contractors who go 4 phones internet anything to compromise anything u own. Do not leave ur house keys wit valet at hospital. If in school do not take class that is shared in different location. But as far as school I was attending is now changed individual passwords for router thanks to evidence I gave. Acupuncture to back of knee into vein. Corrupted MRI results and other type X-rays. Look out for the specialty person who opens up just 4 u to take ur blood doing about face on ur vein. Stay clear of dental by all means. Also don’t turn ur.back on the mideasterners any type of exam. If u own va loan prepare for vandalism. So apt or home do not get wireless security straight hard drive and stay alert with apps for cellular security. Fuck police took picture of 40 dollar drone of my hard drive inside apt. Hard up little pricks They won’t steal value cause they don’t want finger prints taken. If they hit ur car fight the little bitches with insurance co make known its scam. Fight them to their death of frustration and they die by choking their own chicken. I am just a veteran who said to regional politicians oig the criminal and miscreatant acts. And in one case little did I know the dr was stealing the drugs for procedures. They let nothing go they enjoy criminal behavior and so does some contractors in bed with them. They think they r law enforcement fucken retards that’s all. Keep on firing. And whistle blow them to unemployment line. Employees I guarantee u r on this site not 4 good The best that could happen is a employee who knows the inside preparation of retaliation in all forms to be given immunity break it wide open. Then n only then can their be reform.

  21. It’s like the beginning of a flood. Logically speaking: The VHA is a mess. Until the guy that knew about the problems, or the CIA guy can fix it, ALL Veterans should be issued Choice access, immediately. I’m not sure when the dam will break, but, looks like it’s beginning to crack.

    1. You mentioned looks like it’s beginning to crack. Below it looks like someone scored some crack and is back to haunt us some more with his duel name play game.

  22. I agree with the third world assessment. I can’t even get my doctor to renew my prescriptions. I’m sent in circles for over three weeks now. I bet Isakson and the rest of Congress don’t have those problems.

  23. Just for “shits and giggles” I googled the following:
“Criminals hired by the Veterans Administration”

You won’t believe the sites that popped up!
Here’s a few for your viewing pleasure!
    Start with this one.
    1.

Does anyone actually believe the VA follows this law? The answer will NOT surprise you!

This one IS A MUST READ!

The list goes on and on and on! Have fun learning how VA spends taxpayers monies!

  24. Rise and Shine Veterans be a. Volunteer for Concerned Veterans for America try you might like it .

    1. Pop the Sailor Man, there are some on the blog who sign petitions.
For their benefit here is the link “https://cv4a.ivolunteers.com/”

  25. Hmmm. So Shulkin only reacts when a lengthy article is posted in a major newspaper.

Read through the Boston Globe article and note the timelines. Also not that the Chief of Staff was deliberately denying Choice appointments even when his own shithole hospital could not provide the care.

The timeline on this suggests Shulkin was well aware of the problems at this dump long ago…at least last January. Dr. Kois suggests the Medical Inspector covered this up, or was trying to.

Also note the Globe reporting that a Whistle Blowers lawsuit has been filed over this substandard care, but what about the hundreds of veterans that were treated like dogshit after that Chief of Staff started warming a chair there?

Yes, there is mention of one veteran filing suit, but Kois makes clear there are many others.

All because some bean-counting bureaucrats wanted to look better for a bonus.

Yet they are both still employed rather than being fired. And prosecuted for intentional negligence, malpractice and at least Elder Abuse.

…and there are many others just like Manchester.

    1. @91Veteran: Exactly right, this shit us nothing new!!!

Fucking murders, and the VAOIG does Jack shit, but cover it all up. Not a single fucking prosecution, and the DOJ, did Jack shit either.

Smaller then my pecker, lil Dickface Durbin, knows damn well what goes on at the VA, and turns a blind eye. Same as “insane McCane” who I hope bleeds out from the consequences of running with scissors.

Funny how fuckface, dickface, dicknose, no dick, Durbin the scrum snatcher, ass backward, bastard, child molester, can show up at all the Veterans events, lying with his forked, snake hissing tongue, to get votes, then disappears after, back into the Den of Corruption,”DC” ,…..FUCK I HATE POLITICIANS!!!!!

I should run away and join the circus, shoot apples off politicians heads, while riding a hungry hungry Hippo!!!

  26. I don’t know of any Veteran who hasn’t been medically treated wrongly. The mental health is as little as possible. I couldn’t imagine allowing a properly vetted VA Dr. Operating on me, anywhere. If Veterans believe we need the VHA, but not this VHA..Shut it down, then look at all that money the same monsters will be able to steal. I’m a Veteran, and simple truth, I need a real Dr. The VHA just can’t do it.

  27. Question – – – Does anyone know of a good malpractice attorney in the Philadelphia metro area? – – – Thank you, Nutter.

    1. Or any other firm that handles malpractice cases from around the Country. – – – Nutter.

      1. I left a notice on a website looking for disabled vets for attorneys to look to see if they want to take on your case. I had a list a mile long including being blinded in left eye by the VA. I never rec’d one response from anyone.

      2. I am not defending Sen. McCain, he is a big boy and he can do that himself. But maybe the reason he does not want to give the VA (VACO/VBA/VHA/NCA) an endless supply of more and more and more money because he does not want to: THROW GOOD MONEY AFTER BAD…IN FANCY TERMS: Escalation of commitment. An excellent example of this is how Congress kept funding the Vietnam “War” even as it was going to total $hit.

      3. “In 2014 it cost the VA $63, 460, 063 for this Volunteer Program . What a scam.”

I hope you realize, the Executive/Congress use VSOs to keep Us in check. The VSO is a scam all unto itself. What we get is bread and circuses my friends.

  28. It is high time for some real leadership at the VA. Leadership that speaks truth publicly about how bad things have really gotten. Leadership that develops solutions to take better care of ALL our nations warriors.

Leadership that recognizes that when they are doing a good job – – – it will be veterans singing their praises, rather than the VA needing a PR Agency to put out “Fluff Pieces” to mislead America.

Current VA leadership has hearts the size of mice and their John Henry Thomas not much bigger. It is about TEN YEARS PAST TIME TO FIX THE DAMN BROKEN VA:

    1. Recognize the problems inherent in the VA are SYSTEM-WIDE, not just limited to a few locations.

    2. Fire all the Lazy No Good Workers. Fire EVERY single AFGE/SES Employee.

    3. Sell off all the VA facilities. Alternatively, they may be converted into housing for homeless veterans.

    4. Issue all veterans a card that allows them to choose their own doctors within their community that they can TRUST.

    5. The United States Government will PAY those doctors promptly (Within 45 days) for the care they provide veterans.

    6. ELIMINATE the “Federal Protection” Umbrella for incompetent QUACKS that the VA sends to other states to practice other than their own. Going to practice in Hawaii? You need to be LICENSED in Hawaii. Same applies to all other states.

    7. Any claim a veteran submits to the VBA that requires more than 90 days to adjudicate, is automatically found to be in favor of the veteran. If a VBA claim filed by a veteran is found to be a false one designed to scam the system, the VA will have to prove in civil court that a false claim was intentionally submitted.

    8. All veterans will be allowed to seek/retain the services of a Veterans Rights Attorney from their first initial contact with the VA.

    9. No AFGE, nor any other Labor Union business will be allowed to take place in any Federal Workplace. Conducting Union Business during working hours will be STRICTLY PROHIBITED, and will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. Should any government employee be found violating this provision, it will result in IMMEDIATE LIFETIME DISMISSAL FROM ANY/ALL GOVERNMENTAL EMPLOYMENT.

    10. Attorneys for appeal will be retained at the former employee’s PERSONAL expense. U. S. Taxpayer’s will not be subject to payment of legal bills for incompetent or dishonest personnel with regards to Governmental Employment.

You have my contact information Mr. Secretary. Call me anytime. I have a lot of ideas to help you improve the services provided to my fellow veterans. And I will not hesitate to speak up at all.

For my fellow veterans who have been ill-served by this CLUSTERFUCK of a train wreck called the VA over the years:

Our battles overseas were far less stressful than our war here at home. Never Cruel or cowardly. Never Give Up. Never Give In. We are on the Righteous path.

POTUS Reagan broke up PATCO in the ’80’s. Time for POTUS Trump to break up the AFGE. Most of our current Congress Critters do NOT have Veterans Interests at heart. Perhaps their replacements will. VOTE OUT all these WORTHLESS INCUMBENTS.

Give their replacement’s one term to take care of Veterans who put aside their own personal lives to answer this nation’s call when she needed them. Many of those Veterans suffer the remainder of their lives for doing what most of their countrymen had not the courage to do.

If they cannot MUSTER THE STONES to do it properly – – – vote their worthless asses out as well. Party should NOT MATTER. What SHOULD MATTER is their VOTING RECORDS ON VETERANS ISSUES.

Rhetoric is cheap. Congressional Voting Records speak louder than words.

NO Combat Veteran should be surprised when the next McVeigh or Congressional Baseball Team Incident occurs. Bound to happen. Just a matter of time . . .

We have now reached the next accelerative phase of our country falling apart. Country before Party. Principles before Personalities. Always.

Want to REALLY fix the VA? The next SecVA needs to be a former Enlisted Man with a few serious axes to grind against the VA and the AFGE. Apparently, Former Flag Officers and SES appointed Civilians can’t cut the mustard . . .

Maybe a SINCERELY MOTIVATED Gunnery Sergeant or Chief Petty Officer CAN.

      1. @OLDMARINE – – – Basically zero. I have e-mailed quite a few of Ben’s articles (and my comments) to the local media here – – – and share them on Google+. Not going to quit though . . .

When enough people get behind that as the basic plan, and start sharing it – – – eventually people will begin noticing. I seek not credit – – – only ideas to make it better, and to get it distributed to the maximum readership.

Anyone here who has any ideas that may help, I WANT TO HEAR THEM.

While it is easy to harshly criticize the VA for what they have done to hurt our nations warriors – – – we also need to have a workable plan to transform the VA into an organization that will help far more veterans than it hurts.

        Just sayin’.

      2. I have had lots of feed back from some of my Posts. Also have noticed several news Articles in the press that were first disclosed here by Others and myself.

Some of the feed back include former Secretary McDonald contacting Ben at about 10 pm one night minutes after I sent Ben a picture of him and Thomas Burch doing their pin ceremony. Ben updated his article to include the picture and McDonald reached out within minutes to denied ever knowing Burch.

Another time Ben updated an article when I sent him a copy of the GSA Schedule for Document Storage Service (DSS). He got an immediate call from one of their employees after he posted it. The CEO then Started posting bullshit I was able to shred right afterwards.

Another Time after posting some thing a VA Doctor reached out and asked for my help in getting his job back because of what I wrote which cleared his name. But I personally will not knowingly help anyone from the VA.

What we all do here is helping and has been effective. Every little thing we do does Help Veterans. Even if it is just making them realize just how bad the Care at the VA really is.

      3. OldMarine & CJ, lets make it clear “we all” have been doing a fine job and are getting better at it.

  29. @NiteWish – – – review “https://www.arthritis.org/search/?q=supplements+for+pain&g=go”

    * To save money, research to find which supplement shows the most benefit for relieving pain. Then include others in order of efficacy.

    * Do a drastic switch in type of protein intake; eat more salmon compared to chicken, steak, and or pork.

    * Research how to use each supplement via in recipes; turmeric- tea, sprinkle on sandwiches, salads, soups. etc.

    * Remove as much sugar and alcohol out of your diet as possible.

    * If you smoke, please try your best to stop. The benefits are unbelievable.

    * DL-Phenylalanine- make sure the amino acid is in the D-form. 100% D form is hard to find. The L form is useless for pain. Read up on this amino acid.

    * If you take NSAID’s: Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on a regular basis, you may consider taking N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) to help remove residuals from your liver, kidney, gallbladder, etc.

    * Stretching, yoga- visit “www.ClassicalStretch.com” and review. I recently evaluated the concept(s), and have no negative comments to share.

    * Acupuncture- VA pays for this outside alternative service.

    * Medical Marijuana (MMJ)- The compound Cannabinoid (CBN) is the main pain relieving chemical in marijuana. You can purchase CBD online. Ask the company if they have a Compassion Program for Veterans.

If you grow your own, check for Indica plant types. You can also purchase Sensamilla types (no seeds).

There are many companies online that sell Indoor Growing Boxes or Tents.

YouTube dot com offers a wide selection of instructional videos on every aspect about growing MMJ.

NiteWish, I hope this gives you a good starting point. Everyone responds differently to treatments for pain. You may have to come up with your own personal treatment. Trial and error is the key. Good luck and the best to you.

    1. ANutterVet, Chewing foods are problem with TMJ, my weight is down to 96lbs, I’m starving & I know it. I got control over alcohol 10yrs ago, haven’t touched a drop since, I stopped red meat/pork & have Buffalo from time to time, ‘Wild Idea Buffalo Co’ is an excellent place to get it from & red meat makes me ill now if I try to eat it. Chicken is full of Prozac, I avoid it. Salmon is infested with Japanese tapeworm. From the company ‘Sustainable Seas’ I order Albacore Tuna & limit that intake due to Mercury. I take vitD & I know you need sunlite to absorb it. Allergic to NSAIDS, over the counter vitamins & a host of just about everything supplemental on the store shelf. I grow my own MMJ plants, I understand about them, the boys are learning to extract CBD for me. [I shouldn’t say ‘boys’ they are grown men now & Veterans]
I hate needles, Acupuncture will never happen. Yoga is boring but I will explore the website. Sugar in my morning coffee, I only drink water sometimes juice & Ensures[full of sugar] Water has to be run through survival filters because it is filthy too. I was quit but went back to Cigarettes, I’ll never quit. Ulna nerve is entrapped at C7, civilian doctors wanted to do surgery to move it many years ago but no, just no surgery. Grin & bear it & keep it to yourself said the old salts & so I do.

      1. NiteWish…Try some french toast with real maple syrup not that other poison, and use coconut butter/oil in the pan..Is the only way I gain any weight..
Can’t take vitimans try.. supreme fulvic & humic complex…It is liquid, It has minerals, amino acids and B 1-3-5 and 6
…….Sports reasearch brand…..vitamin D3 it has coconut oil in it for absorption
Instead of ensure for protein try casein protein ..you can get that at…PURE BULK…It is a slow release.
Sugar I also only use it in morning coffee but I use… organic coconut palm sugar
and I do the vitimans and minerals every 3 day’s
        Cigarettes..The only thing I’m not giving up..LOL
        No chicken for me.
Milk yes, but RBGH free I get mine from a local creamery and DAMN is it fresh..
        HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT….

      2. NiteWish…I forgot to mention …C3 complex turmeric curcumin …with coconut oil…for arthritis,
….sports research BRAND same company as the D3…and a shot of CBD oil once in awhile ..LOL

      3. NiteWish…. Tobacco – Smokin’ the Propaganda | Satu Insan – Malaysia

I think i am going to try growing some next year..LOL

    2. @NiteWish – – – Wow, you’ve got a lot going on. How about pea powder for protein? Also, MMJ seeds with high CBD content may be available. Or, you may want to take a peak at;

      Simpson’s Oil- “https://phoenixtears.ca/”

  30. I’ve been in pain for 33yrs w/cervical radiculopathy that radiates from the ears across the shoulders, upper back & down the arms into the hands – cause is a C7 fracture. VISN21 Palo Alto & the other VA I was seen at in Jacksonville FL are doing this same BS. They won’t acknowledge it, they don’t treat it, now its arthritis & fathom pain they say. Have some Gabapentin. rrrrrrrrr

  31. TO ALL VETS VA DEATHCARE WILL KILL YO BY ACCIDENT ON POPURSE O FOR THE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$4THATS A LEGAL FACT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. Comment – – – After reading my question, sit back and think how you would answer.

If Shulkin knows what is BEST for the VA to provide medical care to Veterans, then why haven’t we seen some sort of plan created by Shulkin, that even comes close to fixing the many troubled areas that has been disclosed in Ben’s articles, and other areas of concern provided by the research of Seymore Klearly, Crazy elf, and others?

Swamps can be deceiving from viewing it from above or from the horizon. Most of the activity and life of a swamp happens where you can’t see it; camouflaged by sedges, rushes, spike-rushes, water couch, common reed, and herbs and forbs such as isotomes.

In other words, there is a lot of life (corruption) that occurs out of sight. The good thing about a swamp(pertaining to the VA), is that the life processes can be halted easily due to its fragility.

Therefore, if the leadership of the VA truly wanted to make effective changes in the VA, they could do so quite easily. The problem is that Shulkin doesn’t want to dramatically change the VA for the better. This is my observation.

And, because Shulkin can’t control leaders below him, he (Shulkin) should be removed. – – – Nutter.

  33. Here’s something I found last night. It’s off subject, yet worth googling.

Last night while looking at utube videos, I ran across one from “not fake news” or someone else. It has to do with “SHAMED DNC CHAIR Debbie Wasermann-Shultz and her husband being “SLUMLORDS”!”

In one of the articles, it shows the “conditions tenants are forced to live in!” Pictures and all. Including rats, roaches and other things.
According to another article, Wasserman-Shultz is being “court ordered to live in a tent in the courtyard” and “…supply tenants with meals on wheels…” and other things.
The cost of repair to the properties is around $3 million!

Now, here’s my take on this. During “election time” the “elected officials” only care about getting the people to vote for them. This includes ALL ethnic groups, economic groups AND veterans. Think about this! Since the “draft” was stopped back in the late 70’s, the size of our military has been decimated. An “ALL volunteer military” isn’t really working out for America. Then, for the past eight (8) years, under Obama, our military dropped off even more!
Now, it seems like these reprobates in Washington are becoming even more degenerate towards their constituents.
People like the Wasserman-Shultz’s run any kind of scam they want.
It’s time we, as American Citizens, put a stop to these reprobates!
    That’s my opinion!

  34. Did anyone else happen to notice that Dr. Chima Ohaegbulam’s Email regarding Mr. McWhinnie’s lack of proper care and follow-up for his Cervical Myelopathy is dated May 6th 2014? Also that the Email was sent to Dr. William Kois’s “gmail.com” account instead of an official email account at the VAMC?

Correct me if I am wrong but the Medical Center Director Danielle S. Ocker took over her former position on December 7, 2015. Which is a Year and a half after Dr. Ohaegbulam sent his email. Also Dr. James E. Schlosser was appointed to his position as Chief of Staff on May 2, 2016. That is 3 days short of two years after Ohaegbulam’s Email.

Something really stinks here and it ain’t just swamp gas.

Leadership page pulled from the Internet Archives showing Bios for Schlosser and Ocker including their start dates for their former positions. Schlosser started May 2nd, 2016 and Ocker started December 7th, 2015.

Chma Ohaegbulam’s Email to William Kois’s Gmail account dated May 6th, 2014. Sent one and a half years before Ocker took over as Director and two years before Schlosser was appointed to Chief of Staff. Now it is more than three years after the email and Dr. William Kois is just getting around to blowing the whistle???

    1. Oh and the referral software that quit functioning sounds like someone supporting the network dose not know what they are doing.

Let’s see here the person in charge of that would be the VA New England Healthcare System Network Strategic Planner Tammy A. Krueger.

Never guess what VAMC she was Director of when Dr. William Kois received the email from the Nigerian Dr. Ohaegbulam. About the VA providing Third World Health Care.

Tammy A. Krueger was appointed as the Director at the Manchester VA Medical Center on March 2, 2014. She had previously served as Acting Director. She was appointed Associate Director at the Manchester VA Medical Center on June 13, 2011. Ms. Krueger served as the Hospital Director of the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (ENRMVH) August 2008 to June 2011.

Prior to this appointment, Ms. Krueger was appointed the Acting Network Director for the VA New England Healthcare System (VISN 1) March 2008 – August 2008. The VA New England Network includes 8 VA Medical Centers and community-based outpatient clinics throughout the six New England states. She was also the Deputy Network Director for the VA New England Healthcare System from March 2005 – March 2008. From May 2001 to February 2005, Ms. Krueger served as the VISN 1 Network Chief Information Officer.

I wonder who should be held responsible and be fired???

Off the top of my head I would have to say both Dr. William Kois and Tammy A. Krueger.

      1. @namnibor: Why did the corrupt chicken cross the road? To prove to the raccoons it could be done……

        Later Gators -!ii!-

      2. More on Tammy A. Krueger who was director at the vamc during most of the time period that Korean War Veteran McWhinnie did not receive proper care.

Tammy A. Krueger a.k.a. Tammy Follensbee was sued during the time period she was Director of the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital for discrimination.

An American born protestant Chaplin who had been working there sued after being let go from a part time position and then she hired Three Catholic Chaplains of African descent and One Canadian Rabbi.

        I guess she hates Americans.

    2. Well, his retirement is coming up, so maybe he’s trying to pad his retirement a little.

      1. Given Dr. William Kois was in charge of the department that should have been in charge of Veteran McWhinnie’s follow up care after he was sent from Manchester to Jamaican Plains for the surgery. Also his illegal use of Gmail with Dr. Ohaegbulam to protect his emails from any FOIA requests.

I personally think that Dr. William Kois is guilty of criminal negligent care in the handling of McWhinnie’s care.

      2. Seymore, good point, which then makes me wonder. Which came first? The veterans malpractice suit? Or Kois’ whistle blowing?

      3. The Whistle Blower complaints came in January 2017. Dr. Ohaegbulam Email was sent May 6th, 2014. Given Dr. Ohaegbulam’s Email is clear that the care provided by the VA was responsible for Veteran McWhinnie’s disabilities and the time limits that a person has to file an action against the VA. It seems reasonable to assume the malpractice suit came first.

      4. Thanks for pointing out the dates Seymore. I read through the Globe article, but didn’t go back to read it again to see those.

  35. This was out yesterday from:
    “Military.com/Daily News”,
via: “Special to McClatchy Washington Bureau | by Patricia Kime.
    Dated: 16 July 2017
    Titled:
“Veterans Exposed to Burn Pits Wait for Lawsuit Decision”

If you read the article, be advised it’s not looking good for the plaintiffs.

  36. Ben, I’ll send you my filing with the U S District Court of Wyoming on this as soon as I finish it for a follow up article on the “POLICY OF DECEPTION”.
    ‘;
The Military particularly deceptively minimized hospital discharge summaries especially in cases of potential residuals of Organic Brain Syndromes.

The VA regularly records “WNL” (within normal limits) on reports when they actually mean “NNP” (no new pathology) which would lead an adjudicator back to original radiographic studies.

VA adjudicators spend a lot of time and effort insuring injury cases don’t involve “due to miss conduct” while ignoring an effort to fully present the injuries. For example, ordering neuropsychological testing for TBI residuals of head injuries.

I have for a background the deliberate use of summaries of rehabilitation in country for military personnel in Vietnam instead of presenting a summary of the acute phase of treatment thus minimizing the assessment of a VA adjudicator who has only the “rehab summary” not noted as being such but instead giving a miss leading impression that the benign summary is a summary of the full treatment of the acute phase of the treatment.

Is this still going on? The subject of a new article.

  37. A few of the Doctors and their stellar educations that are providing third world medicine at the VAMC Manchester.

Goran Broketa, MD ZAGREB UNIVERSITY MEDICAL SCHOOL Croatia

Alexandre Blaivas, NIZHNI NOVGOROD STATE MEDICAL ACADEMY Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Sorin Herscovici, MD CAROL DAVILA UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY Bucharest, Romania

Angelo Pete Horatagis, MD UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS, INTERNATIONAL Athens Greece

Emilianos Karagiannis, MD Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Thessaloniki, Greece

Omair Mutib, MBCHB BAGHDAD UNIVERSITY Baghdad Iraq

Gunjan Panesar, MBBS Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer India

Ravinder Panesar, MBBS Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer India

    1. Seymore,
I don’t believe any one of these “3rd world physicians”, at the Manchester VHA, are taking up the case FOR veterans as whistleblowers!
They are probably guilty of misconduct and misdiagnosis of veterans healthcare!
Their only existence is to sponge off the taxpayers and collect a paycheck. Every one of them needs to go back to their home countries!
As I’ve said, until “Shithead Shulkin” starts doing his job, under the new law, everything will stay the same! Shulkin should be held accountable for this bullshit!

      1. It is a known fact that the VA hires the lowest of the low in med graduates. So we are already starting off with a weak medical program. Whenever I ask a VA doctor about natural medicine or diet they say they can’t answer such questions because they did not learn it in school. If I spend a few hours studying a condition going into the VA, I already then know much more than they do and can easily see and avoid the poor information they provide me.

My cousin said the VA told him to go somewhere else because there was nothing they could do for his MDS blood disorder. He went to a hospital in Manhattan which asked him to pay $6,000 each in cash for a weekly blood transfusion to keep him alive. A veteran should not have to do this to stay alive. The VA should be handling his case.

  38. I’m still going to say, we need VA employees; ie: physicians, nurses, technicians etc., to come forward and disclose ALL of the egregious acts against veterans. Thereby helping VA whistleblowers to keep the pressure on!

As far as the Manchester VHA is concerned, ALL of the upper management needs to be “FIRED”, lose any benefits they have allegedly earned and have criminal charges brought against them. Don’t let these asswipes retire with full benefits! Like what occurs in the majority of cases! The VA needs to stop letting these reprobates retire and collect taxpayers monies!
According to the “Globe’s” article, they were well aware of the situation dating back a few years! Trying to “cover-up” their misdeeds is, in my opinion, a crime!

This is not only happening at the VHA in Manchester, it’s occurring nationwide! There’s numerous articles coming out almost daily on this issue. Therefore, IF our DOJ were to convene a grand jury, I’m sure there would be a trial to hold these reprobates accountable.

Lastly, IF “Shithead Shulkin” doesn’t do something about this ASAP, then we ALL know he’s nothing more than a “liberal Democrat asswipe!” Willing to sell his soul for taxpayers monies! We all know he got this job, because NO ONE ELSE WANTED IT!

    1. Crazy Elf, one nurse said in the article that flies had been in that OR for 16 years.

They knew flies were a problem, certainly after that vet noticed them. Perhaps thats why they administer anesthesia before going into the OR…so the vets don’t notice the flies.

And then some smarmy bitch says they spend $55,000 on pest control…as if saying, “what more do you want?”

Well, maybe some oversight of that pest control contract since they sure as hell are not controlling the pests.

Note to VA hacks: in my above comment, “pests” refers to the flies, not veterans.

      1. Since the operating room has been infested with flies for 16yrs(?) where is the ‘meat’ the maggots are hatching from inside the building. Sick.

      2. Nitewish, that’s what I’ve been wondering. I suspect they have a floor drain or something similar where they are coming from.

Physicians may discuss alternative pain therapies and remedies with their patients. By focusing less on strong
pain medication, surgery or other treatment options, patients can work with doctors to learn how to self-manage their pain,…….NO NEED TO SEE THESE WITCH DOCTOR’S THEN …SHUT IT DOWN

  40. HERE IS MORE OF THAT GLOBE ARTICLE …….

McWhinnie, a Korean War veteran who lives in the small New Hampshire town of Gilmanton, relied mainly on a wheelchair to get around when he first visited Dr. William “Ed” Kois, head of Manchester VA’s spinal cord clinic, in July 2016. McWhinnie, who was 84 at the time, had long been a vigorous man who built much of the furniture in his house from maple trees on his land. But then his legs and arms grew weak, he had difficulty talking, and he became incontinent.

Kois immediately got alarmed when reading McWhinnie’s medical records.

They showed that the retired telephone cable splicer had undergone two surgeries at the VA hospital in Jamaica Plain to remove a tumor from his spine in 1995 but that the surgeon could not remove all of it, according to a copy of the records that his family shared with the Globe.

Over the next 21 years, McWhinnie went to the Manchester VA dozens of times for treatment of a variety of ailments. But no one had done imaging to find out if the tumor was growing again, even though regular monitoring was the standard of care after surgery on this type of tumor, according to his lawyer, Mark Abramson.

At least as far back as 2007, McWhinnie was gradually losing the ability to walk, the records indicate, something that could have been caused by a tumor pressing on his spine.

Kois “took one look at Bob, and he said, ‘Oh, my God, this is a disgrace. This man should have been taken care of,’ ” recalled McWhinnie’s wife of 63 years, Janice McWhinnie.

So Kois ordered an MRI and an X-ray and, sure enough, the tumor was choking McWhinnie’s upper, or cervical, spine. It had also grown too big to remove.

“They ignored him basically for 20 years and allowed this thing to grow and grow and grow,” said Abramson, who recently wrote the VA in Manchester and in Boston that his client intends to sue for negligence.

Hospital officials declined to comment, citing potential litigation.

    1. I have a theory: I believe the VA just slapped 3 and 4 star ratings on their most horrific VA facilities in the belief of “If we build it/rate it high enough, the Vets will still come”….rat bastards! We ALL KNEW that star rating system of McDonald Duck’s was hogwash and now it all plays out.

SHUT THE VHA PART OF THE VA DOWN….NOW!

Oh…I hope Johnny Isaacson falls flat on his ass after being flung across the congressional gym’s Stairmaster this morning from this kernel of truth from the VA steaming poo.

      1. AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE..I hate when they say that HOGWASH as you walk away and still fell like shit…

  41. A hospital spokeswoman said the unblemished record dates back to 2011 — and shared a veteran’s recent letter praising Manchester VA care.

YEA YOU ALWAYS GET A PAID SHILL TO TO DO THAT….

    1. A VSO Piggy, no doubt, that probably only haunts the Starbucks and a counter but gets their healthcare elsewhere….good piggy, now have another donut tray for your trough. 🙂

    2. Oldmarine, so much for their usual bullshit excuse that they cannot share anything in order to protect patient privacy.

Any bets on whether that veteran wears a funny hat from the American Legion? Any bets on whether that vet only gets care for hemmorhoids?

      1. @91Veteran- Except that funny hat wearing Legionella has to see an Eye, Ear & Throat Specialist because the hemorrhoids in this case can be found in the throat cavity cutting-off O2 to the piggy brains. But hell, anything for a buck for the scheming piggies.

That same American Legion is continuing to flood the Ohio TV and radio airwaves warning about some prescription policy that will increase costs for ALL Veterans and the thing is, the American Legion President from Dayton claims he speaks FOR ALL Veterans…and if you saw this piggy, you would realize he also has stolen all the food from the homeless Veterans by his very girth.

How dare these asshats claim they speak for every veteran. They are only concerned about their welfare and continued existence. Assuming asshat piggies.

      2. Nam, someone needs to set that dumbass straight and let him know he only speaks for those vets they have conned into becoming members.

It pisses me off when clowns like that claim they speak for me. They don’t give a shit about me or any other veteran…only what affects them personally.

      3. 91Veteran……I can use some of those hat’s …..JUST IN CASE I RUN OUT OF TOILET PAPER…LOL

  42. “[…Danielle Ocker was the facility director…]”

Do you all remember the classic Sylvester & Tweety Bird cartoon where Sylvester is chasing Tweety on the ledges outside, high-up on building right outside Dr. Jeckle & Mr. Hyde’s laboratory and when the chase proceeded inside the laboratory, Tweety gets into a large flask with some of the Dr.’s elixir, which makes Tweety grow into a monstrous Tweety Bird Beast, then Tweety Bird Beast is now chasing Sylvester?

Danielle Ocker was the facility director, looks like the Tweety Bird Beast…after eating several Syvesters….the epitome of First Class Health Scare!

GOOD RIDDANCE YOU NASTY ASSED POSTERCHILD OF ENGORGED VA PURPLE TEAM….BITCH!

    1. She looks like a birdbeast, a tunabeast and a crunchberry beast, rolled into one!. Makes you want to shout out ” Hey Koolaid! (Oh Yeaaah!)
A poster child for the VA magazine.
Or a made for tv movie called “Fast times at Fatback High”
They all have that same look!
      Disgusting!

      1. I’m betting more crunchberry beast with a healthy dose of Frankenberry Beast for the full VA theme. It also brings to mind a great odd movie called “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”…the living room couch and deteriorating support in the house’s foundation below scenes. 🙂

  43. My hospital director in a town hall meeting was jumping up and down every chance she got and kept repeating we are # 2 in the whole system,.. She didn’t con-vince me though… What a joke

And Nic Mach U DA MAN DUDE …..

    1. OLDMARINE,
I would have asked her ~IF~ ‘she’ meant “#2” in misdiagnosis of patients and malpractice suits against her vha!

  44. Short of topic on the current domestic wars.

      1. Seymore Kleary, Central Valley CA is so bad Frontline did a 2012 documentary. I hear gunfire a lot, many are being shot/killed, moveable live-feed camera’s have been installed & also that device that detects gun shot location, the police got 3 new drones last year. The Worlds gone madd. Chicago is getting the attention by the press, the Feds were sent, what have they done, its getting worse there.

      2. NiteWish

The cause of all of this can be summed up in just one word.

        “INJUSTICE”

  45. Personally, I am not buying the BS. It is looking more and more like what happened at the Cincinnati VAMC. The Doctors from the Manchester VA who are said to be blowing the whistle are all also working at the University that trains at that VA.

The Physician Chima Ohaegbulam with his third world degree from the University of Nigeria claiming the VA is putting out third world health care. Come on lets get real here! His Email to the University instructor and now retiring Physician at the VAMC is so carefully crafted to be used in this scam. Lets not forget the reason that the patient didn’t get proper care is because the Doctors didn’t do their jobs. Now the Doctors are blowing the whistle.

They should definitely fire the person responsible for the reinfesting the Operating room with flies and responsible for the surgical tray.

These Doctors that are whistle blowing are currently collecting paychecks from both the VA and from the University. If it is anything like what was going on at Cincinnati where the doctors were only seeing Veterans at the University hospital so the University makes more money and the doctors also get a kick back. The University in Cincinnati was making a cool $100 million on the side from that arrangement.

The is definitely more to this story than has come out so far.

  46. Wouldn’t it be nice if this was the only Veterans Hospital where these problems and similar problems exist? If so, we would be able to follow this one through. All we need now is a hundred Veterans Hospitals with similar reports. SeymoreKlearly, you ever sleep? Lots of problems popping up for all these, Department of’s ? Great article Ben. There’s a small newspaper, Hippo, or ?? It’s in Boston. They are familiar with Danielle Ocker.

    1. The CT VA Hospital is very good, that’s because Yale Medical School trains their residents there. Yale watches them like a hawk, they will not tolerate anything as long as their students are there. One of the best universities in the world, with enough clout to get anyone fired. So they basically run the place, some problems, but. The patient advocates office will usually see you within 15 minutes and if something is wrong? On it in a minute, no shit. Had to move because taxes, in Denver and it’s a huge mess. They told me my SC hip was 100% perfect with labrum in tact? Had surgery at Yale, doctor said worst labrum ever seen, took a large portion out and trimmed the rest rest until hip replacement. Denver says all good next! Had bad knee 15 yrs, same thing perfect, they showed me. Had to inform then looking at X-rays that were taken non weight bearing, idiot’s. I can’t wait to die. If wasn’t waiting long enough for my wife to collect my benefits? I’d be long gone.

      1. Mike, sorry to hear about your problems with the VA but
hang in there brother. We’ve all here have gone thru similar BS.
Keep strong don’t let them beat you.
        You have a voice hear.

      2. Yale medical research has screwed over veterans with organic brain syndromes for many years. I suspect they haven’t changed their effort to diminish veterans’ entitlements.

There are two bogus studies that have been reversed in the last couple of years that were instigated on behalf of the VA.

One caused the denial of partial and complex partial temporal lobe seizures and was overturned by an Oxford University Medical research study in 2012 and the other was a p. falciparum malaria study discounting residual brain damage done in 1966 and reversed by NIH in December of 2015 with a microscopic physiology study.

I will probably join the Yale Medical School in my SF 95 Tort claim filing due after August 28, 2017.

If you had malaria while in the military and have had trouble with employment or underemployment you need to file a claim for organic brain damage residuals of malaria and an SF-95 claim for loss of income due to the bogus Yale group study commissioned by the Army that was done in 1966 and used in the 1998 House VA Committee hearings on the subject to deny that such damage was caused. Include Yale Medical School in your malpractice claim. The study, though it passed peer review, is obviously bogus on its face and I’ll email you a copy of an analysis that proves it that was done and rejected by the publisher long before the December of 2016 publication of the NIH study.

If you get a copy of your hospital treatment record you will discover that the “Summary” in your VA file is benign and covers only the rehabilitation following the acute phase treatment at a different location. This was done by the military to subvert claims for the brain damage caused by the disease.

        [email protected]

  47. The “VA Braintrust” i.e. VACO/VAOIG et al. already knows this, and more, much much more. And what do they do about it? NOTHING! They swallow whatever AFGE shoots down their throats and up their butts. Your Congress knows about this too brothers and sisters. In my neck of the woods (Portland Oregon), we have a dual Senator from two states, Oregon and New York. We have another guy, we don’t know what he does though. Our Congress people, impotent. I am a c**t hair close to telling them to fuck their GAG ORDER and my whistleblower protection, I am going to the press. They can take their job and shove it!!!!

I know there are people on this board who work for the VA, I am one of them (all be it, in a limited capacity). I love the people and the ideal that it serves. But this is beyond ridiculous. A doctor, from Africa, telling VA doctors, that the treatment VA patient’s is getting, is like Africa! You can’t make this stuff up. Its funny, in my last letter to my VA supervisor, before I “blew the whistle,” I told her that the care I had witnessed Veterans getting in by facility was like 3rd world healthcare I had seen as a Hospital Corpsman serving with the Marines, in 3rd world countries. When I showed up with my 6 months of Corpsman schools to help out in village clinics, they thought I was a doctor!

The VHA needs to just go away. Just give it up. Lately I have been thinking maybe they should just turn it over to the DOD/Military or the Public Health Service.

Soory for the rant! Thanks for listening.

    1. @Nic Mach – – – Hey Brother, good post. Stand strong. Talk with other Veterans that you trust where you work. Spread the word. Stand strong. Thank you.

    2. @Nic Mach- Keep-up the good fight and indeed, please go to the press. We have your six!

    3. The nurses and doctors are envious of the training an 8404 and 8472 Corpsman receives. I use to work for that fucking so called healthcare entity. I worked with an ENT doctor that didnt see an hearing aid plug embedded in a patients ear for weeks.
He blew me off when I went to my nurse supervisor with it. All the nurse supervisor said was that I shouldnt be looking in patient ears. The funny part is, if I am suppose to clean the hearing aids they wear and ensure they are working properly, I definetly need to know the anatomy of the ear!
      Typical VA fartfucks as usual.
Corpsmen attached to the fleet, FMF and MARSOC need to know their shit ir you will will not survive. You put your put your platoon at risk with an unsat Corpsman.

      1. All this is 3rd world and VA email littering their shit abt die on here is crock of shit. Get a fucken life we know u kill w/o being charged 4 murder. Times will change. Cause u got VA dick up ur orifaces spit ur shit elsewhere. Full speed ahead VETS media tax payers. Quit talking these ppl into ur suicide program. U dumb fucks

    4. Well said Doc, nothing going to change. When I applied years ago at Baltimore VAMC with an LPN cert I was told from an old 8404 that they will treat you like shit and despise you and your level of care. So I opted for Patient Admin instead thru a NGO contracting firm and hated them(VA) even more. Blatant fuckery is the best word to describe what I experienced in a year and half, and never again will I ever work for the VA or associated contractors.
I’ve told all fellow Doc`s or pecker-checker and MARSOC guys to use your GI Bill and study Information Technology because it will pay more and you can work from home.

      1. Accountability plague going get ya twisted trash on way out. Bye bye now. Don’t listen to some of these dumb twisted fake pricks. They been on other sites as well. IQ 0

  48. @cj – – – This is what I’ve been going through. Incompetency !!! I’m calling for the resignation of Shithead Shulkin. The VA executives know what is happening. They act like nothing like this is happening under their watch. We deserve better. And I won’t keep my mouth shut about this.

Brothers and Sisters, we need to take a firm stand NOW. Don’t worry about the VA’s damn Corruptive Behavior Committee or the EPERS List. They use this for intimidation. Stay strong, and start using what you were taught in boot and while in service. No mercy !!! Enough of this shit.

    1. I’ve been and reported to all agencies. Only new one left, but who’s hands does it end up in? I’ve done my part over and over. Retaliatory employees are patient and relentless. Point is abuse doesn’t only take place in med ctrs. Now it has too be media employees accountability investigators and shulkin firing like there’s no manana. If he cleans it up n out private sector will come. They r not coming to that sesspool. And yes they know much abt corruption going on Or just close it. And as far as doing my part problem is ur on ur own. All turn into cowards knowing what I exposed. Media media media tax payers tax payers community law enforcement catching criminal actions. Employees involvement. They know.

      1. Do not go to VA and mouth off and get yourself on the disruptive list. It is what they want and they will push you. Let them expose themselves for who they are. Contact new accountability office if needed. Snap pic. Don’t feed into harassment. It’s their home. We r not stake holders. Just shit nobody’s they see.

      2. Good advice. ! I have been fighting this illegal disruptive committee since 2004, have obtained real proof that a disgruntled va employee falsely accused me of disruptive behavior and the VA did not require any written proof of the disruptive behavior.

I have written to Secretary Shulkin’s office giving them all the evidence needed to clear my good name.

It, also proves that the employee only reported me as a retaliatory act and higher management covered up for the employee.

I would like to ask you and any veteran accused of disruptive behavior and feel they were wrongly accused to please write a letter to Shulkin and explain your situation.

This disruptive committee is illegal, in punishing veterans, they are not part of our judiciary system and need to stop. !

When anyone lies and accuses someone of committing a crime and only doing so to cause harm to that individual, by getting others to hate that person or to retaliate and does not furnish proof.

And they publish the lies as fact or truth is considered a class 6 felony of criminal libel !!!

Some veterans claim they consider this a badge of honor. I do not I call it a crime and will fight to reclaim my good name as it was prior to being falsely accused !!

If enough veterans tell their stories about the VA employees and how they use the disruptive committee as a tool to retaliate, maybe they will fix it, if not we need to file a class action suit, for the VA taking away our civil, human and constitutional right’s away.

The Secretary is a to report to congress, senate, the house and the senate committee on veterans affairs with all allegations of wrongdoing.

To include the employees name, state, where they worked and what action was taken.

Now some manager’s will deny they knew about the problem. ! So I believe that one should send a copy to all the above, so they can not say they did not know about the problem.

    2. Plague is coming accountability that is Some sick assets from VA on here. Bottom barrel type encouraging suicide in subtle way. I’ve seen the art elsewhere. Smile never stop. Humiliate as they have done. Watch the strong come out n watch them go down down down. Sick bitches n bastards. Plague

    3. Some promote in cyber, med ctrs promote hopelessness on inside. I’m not sure if they do it to anyone. But sure as hell they do it to those who spoke up n employees were committing atrocities removed but some to another facility. Very good at retaliatory behaviors, taking ur ambition and goals home and private lives, turning it to shitstorm running. Sick ppl. We do not want them in vets lives and baby vets to come. They r corrupt more so than a gang. Cuz they are given access to drugs money in every way.

    4. Bunches live were I’m at. Mngt said no as I asked. Pure trash. Pure intimidation. Pure false representation. Dogs needing ending days at VA

    5. Fools out tonight copying each other. Stupid shits opening closing car doors. Sounding off alarms. I spoke to young girl having sex outside my balcony. Find some trees. Lol these fucks pimping young girls 2. She smiled n said I’m out of here with her bags in hand. Made my day. Pigs have no boundaries. Happy girl got away.

    6. Say WTF,

      WTF is your problem?

Burned up all of your brain cells?

      Goes waste away somewhere else.
