Heller Proposes Extending Veterans Small Biz Benefits to Spouses & Children

Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) introduced a bill last week that would ensure veterans’ small-business benefits get passed on to spouses and children of those who died in combat.

Veterans who own small businesses receive some preferential treatment in terms of contacting and loans through the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Veterans Small Business Act would extend these benefits to surviving spouses and children who wish to continue to run the small business.
