  1. It amazing how the public’s image has changed in 38 years, towards our men and woman in uniform. Back in the 60’s and early 70’s. Men and Woman in uniform were spitted on and called baby killers. It was advice to others not to wear the military uniform in public. Because you would get rude comments from people and also looked on as a disease. Now a days Veterans coming back from a Combat Theater are praised for there service. Even Veterans both disabled and former members from WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Also Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom are stopped in public and thanked for there service. It makes me proud that we finally are getting the recognition by the public for our service and sacrifice to our nation. WWII in known as the greatest generation, The Korean War is known as the Forgotten War, and the Vietnam War is known as the useless War. This is just the thoughts of a 21 year 80% disabled veteran thanking all my brothers and sisters that have worn the uniform of our great nation proudly as I have and it is about time that we have gotten the thanks for others to appreciate there freedom that we have defended for many, many years.
