Krause Holds Facebook Live Talk On Voc Rehab Games Counselors Play

Facebook Live Voc Rehab Talk

Numerous veterans in our Facebook group, Disabled Veterans – Chapter 31 Voc Rehab, have been reporting problems and confusion from their counselors this week.

In response, I held this linked Facebook Live session addressing one of the most common games Voc Rehab Counselors play that cost unsuspecting veterans thousands in lost funding for retraining.

If you are about to sign your IWRP or you just did, I address the biggest game I’ve been seeing in the past 6 months in this session.

For those of you who do not know, VA Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment, aka Chapter 31 aka Voc Rehab aka VocRehab is one of the best programs around for helping disabled veterans gain suitable employment.

The program can help you merely find a job or get retrained to be a doctor or anything in between. Depending on the veteran’s circumstance, Vocational Rehabilitation can be a life-changing program.

For others, the program can be confusing and result in a veteran feeling cheated… especially if the counselor is aggressive or dishonest.

Tune in to the Voc Rehab Facebook Live session to learn about the way Voc Rehab Counselors are conning veterans and how you can fight back.

My Vocational Rehabilitation Background

For those new to this website, I received all of my post-military training through VA Vocational Rehabilitation. The program paid for my undergrad at Northwestern University and my law degree from the University of Minnesota where I graduated magna cum laude.

The program even paid for my veterans rights law firm to help me help veterans sue VA.

All in, the program paid over $350,000 for my retraining. It was a great opportunity, but that opportunity did not come easy. I had to fight every step of the way, which is why I wrote the Voc Rehab guide, Voc Rehab Survival Guide.

Anyway, be sure to watch the session. Comments from veterans start coming in around minute 13. Check it out. We hit on:

  • Individualized Written Rehabilitation Plans
  • Using Vocational Rehabilitation for longer than 48 months
  • The difference between approval and having a plan

  1. Continuing Employment @ the VA – – – If you’re in the business of caring for the health and life \of Veterans, then do it well. If you can’t do it well, then get the fuck out of this type of industry, and go fuck up somewhere else. As an Investigative Research Biologist, I despise your fucking half-way efforts per the disservice and mistreatment of Veterans, their love ones, and their service animals.

And, since your a VA employee, you’ve no excuse in not knowing about ALL programs and services that’re currently available to us Veterans. Problem is this, the damn AFGE is actually an enabler of poor claims and medical services. As a VA employee, there’re less incentives to do what actually is supposed to be done, and doing it right the first time. When you’re in the business of life, there’s no room for what’s in it for you. It’s about the Veteran that needs help. As always, you spin it backwards to make things more confusing than it should be.

In other words, you’re too much fucking protected to do any damn good. Shootz, you can’t even answer the damn phone with proper etiquette. Let alone all the fucking circle jerking that many of you ass wipes (VA employee’s) put on Veterans. Stop this fucking bullshit! If you don’t, then . . .

You fucking pukes (incompetent VA AFGE Union Employee), and due to outright negligence, and the lack of VA workers from speaking out against your sadistic behavior, are going to piss-off a highly trained person who may visit you with solid back-up. And, the in-house VA Federal Police aren’t going to be able to assist. I know that I’m not the only Veteran that has ever brought this up.

There’s been too many Veterans and their families that’ve been royally screwed over, and these Veterans can prove it without a doubt. I just wish that there we a lot of stand-up Attorneys that stood up for Veteran Malpractice Law Suits. And, if the Federal Tort Laws were reformed, this could be a BIG game changer for many a Veterans. IMO.

This post isn’t meant to promote any type of violence. It’s my perspective. Hopefully, things will change. Will it? – – – Nutter.

    Ben puts things nice. Here is the dictionary way to say the same thing;

    malfeasance
    [mal-fee-zuh ns]

    1. the performance by a public official of an act that is legally unjustified, harmful, or contrary to law; wrongdoing (used especially of an act in violation of a public trust).

Of course, “malfeasance” is not the ONLY word typically used to describe VA that starts with an “m” now is it? Just a thought.

    1. Aggressively Dishonest= “VA Malfeasance Patient Integrated Research Excellence” (VAMPIRE) is also where all Patient Advocates/Counselors acquire their keen people skills. 🙂

  3. Sorry Ben,

It’s supposed to be permitted through the “CARE ACT!” “Shithead Shulkin” discussed this, but NOT in detail, during his time in front of the Veterans Committee meeting in Washington!

    1. Gave you a thumbs up on this but someone canceled it with a thumbs down. Trolls have been active lately.

      1. Seymore,
ALL I did was put the article on so everyone could read it!
The person who gave it a “thumbs down” was probably a VA Troll/hack!
Because, IF a majority of Vets were to seek medical attention outside the VA, these reprobates would more likely than NOT, lose their bonuses and their jobs!
The more vets who use outside healthcare, the less people will be needed at ALL VHA’s!
        At least that’s my opinion!

  5. Apparently, the ex-supervisor of VA Voc. Rehab @ Bedford, Mass. was playing funnel Vets to U. of Phoenix scam AND a freakshow of child porn games…he was Roderick Rooney and led away in handcuffs, and thanks to Seymore Klearly posting this last night: “Federal Employee Profile — Roderick Rooney”

Morale of post: DO NOT shake hands with your Voc. Rehab Counselor without washing your hands with copious amounts of Lysol.

    1. Namnibor,

A published Blog Post by David Halperin on Huffington Post you will find interesting. It is about how a Clinton Foundation Attorney Jamie Gorelick who served in the Bill Clinton Administration as general counsel of the Department of Defense and later as Deputy Attorney General, in 2016 successfully pressed the Pentagon on behalf of the nation’s biggest for-profit college, the University of Phoenix, to lift a suspension of the school for alleged recruiting abuses directed at U.S. military service members.

The University of Phoenix, which has been getting $2 billion to nearly $4 billion a year in taxpayer funds, has a troubling record of spending too little on instruction, charging high prices, and leaving many students worse off than when they enrolled.

The lawyer who helped rid the suspect school of a Pentagon penalty is a major power player in Washington. Having been the number two official in the last Clinton Justice Department, Jamie Gorelick was considered a strong possibility for the Attorney General job if Hillary Clinton had been elected. That was up until the Clinton Lynch Tarmac meeting.

      1. Given several of the first actions taken by the new VA General Counsel James Byrne was to strike a deal between the, so-called, Non-Profit he is director of and the university of Phoenix. Byrne then files a notice to change with the Federal Register to allow VA employees, himself included, to profit from their connections from For-Profit Schools by eliminating CFR codes regarding conflict of interest.

While the Pedophile named Roderick Rooney who is a recruiter for the University of Phoenix, a ‘For-Profit- University’. While at the same time he is working as a Supervisor in charge of handling Vocational Rehab at the Bedford VAMC. Which is a total Violation of a statute pertaining to for-profit educational institutions—38 U.S.C. 3683.

What a tangled web of deception.
